In August 2010, 23 students were participating in the China-US cooperative program working towards their Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Minnesota-Crookston and Valley City State University. Three ZJETP students were studying at Wirschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein in Germany.

Two students, Pan Fangjing and Chen Qi, were named to
the fall semester 2010 Chancellor's List at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. To qualify for a place on the Chancellor's List, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded (A-F) credits while attaining a 4.00 grade point average. In addition to excelling academically, all students in UMC are active in many student organizations. They participated in International Education Week, "Holidays around the world", Chinese corner, and International Dinner Series. In addition, they have volunteered their time to teach Chinese language and culture lessons in local elementary schools, enabling a rich cross-cultural exchange for the community.

ZJETP students studying in Germany have been recognized for outstanding academic performance. As required by the German Dual-System of Higher Education, all students must complete an internship during their studies. All three ZJETP students have met this requirement, and one student, Ma Tao, has received top honors from the German university partnered with ZJETP.
